I don’t do “high vibes only” - that’s not where healing happens. You don’t need to look/be/act a certain way for energy work to help you, so just come as you are. And speaking of how I work, I’m not a “healer”. I believe we’re all self-healers, I’m here to create space with you, and channel the universal love your way. The healing work is ongoing, within yourself, and I am happy to support you along the way. So, how did I get here? I first experienced Reiki during a workshop about vicarious trauma for sign language interpreters. At the time I was having a bit of a career crisis and dealing with a lot of digestive issues, which while I was struggling with them seemed unrelated to each other, but looking back that connection makes perfect sense. After several years being on the receiving end of Reiki, and making a TON of shifts in my life (moving back to my home town, shifting my work load away from interpreting, navigating adult relationships with my parents), I decided it was time to learn it for myself. I was able to study with the person who I first introduced me to Reiki, in a trauma sensitive, non-traditional course. I became a Certified Reiki Master in 2018, and have been offering sessions since then. So many wonderful changes have happened during this process - a true career change, and the gift of sharing Reiki with others (AMAZING!), better relationships with family (hey, it's a process, right?), and most of all, learning to love and care for myself. Prioritizing what is most important to me, and letting the rest of it be. I love that I get to share that shift with others. In addition to Reiki, I also provide Pranic Healing and Marma Therapy, both of which I studied at the California College of Ayurveda. And I love to create custom malas to support your healing journey. I work with people of all ages, in all stages of life and healing. I've had the joy of seeing clients resolve chronic pain, leave unhealthy relationships, and shift their lives in incredible ways.
